One of Azerbaijan’s largest furniture manufacturers, "Gardashlar Mebel", joined a charity event held in Washington, D.C.
On May 3, 2022, a charity event was organized at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC).
At the charity concert titled “The Voice of Orchid” (The Voice of Kharıbülbül), well-known examples of classical and modern Azerbaijani music were performed.
The organizers stated that the charity event was held in support of the humanitarian efforts of the Marshall Legacy Institute (MLI) in Azerbaijan. The funds raised during the event will be used for mine clearance operations in the territories of Karabakh liberated from occupation, as well as for financing additional mine detection dogs to be sent to Azerbaijan in order to help save lives.
One of the companies participating in “The Voice of Orchid” charity event was "Gardashlar Mebel", one of Azerbaijan’s largest furniture manufacturers. By supporting the initiative aimed at clearing mines from Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, the company took part in the event as a sponsor and demonstrated its support for this humanitarian mission.
