Despite the pandemic in Azerbaijan, the Qardashlar furniture company, which increased its sales as a result of a predetermined crisis communication plan, analyzed the current situation in the sector.
The head of the company, Ali Mirzayev, announced that, unlike many companies, working transparently brought them additional orders during the pandemic.
“Working transparently has always been important for Qardashlar furniture. We analyzed that when the pandemic began in many countries, this would also happen in our country. Our analysis showed that companies and individuals operating in the furniture sector in Azerbaijan would not be able to withstand this situation. As a result, many companies and individuals will face difficulties in completing the orders they have received. This, in turn, will have a very serious impact on the relations between the parties."
Ali Mirzayev also provided information about the company's current activities and said that the financial support they received from the state as a result of their transparent work has prevented their current situation from worsening.
“We know that working transparently has its positive sides, and the state definitely supports such companies at the right time. On the other hand, the pandemic has once again shown that companies operating in a non-transparent manner are putting themselves in a difficult situation by hiding their income and expenses. Companies ordering furniture should also pay attention to such situations. If customer companies do not want their orders to remain incomplete, they should prefer to cooperate with healthy companies existing in the market. Despite the current quarantine period, our company is engaged in the implementation of new orders in compliance with the rules set by the Operational Headquarters.”
