"Qardashlar Mebel" aims to deliver Azerbaijani furniture to world markets under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand

Operating since 2015, “Qardashlar Mebel” is one of the largest and most modern furniture manufacturers in Azerbaijan. The factory has participated in a number of international exhibitions and cooperates with famous brands. The founder of “Qardashlar Mebel”, a young entrepreneur Ali Mirzayev, answered AZERTAC’s questions about the factory’s production, goals and successes.

- How does the development of the non-oil sector affect your work as an entrepreneur?

- All the work done to develop the non-oil sector, diversify the economy, further increase the volume of local production and export turnover, and eliminate dependence on imports is an integral part of the successful reforms of the country’s leader.

- The “Qardashlar mebel” factory, which is engaged in the production and sale of furniture, has been operating since 2015. The factory, which has an area of ​​two hectares, is currently one of the largest and most modern furniture manufacturers in Azerbaijan. “Qardashlar mebel”, which has more than 100 permanent employees, always pays great attention to increasing the professionalism of its employees. By participating in exhibitions held in many leading countries of the world, the factory’s employees get acquainted with innovations in the field of furniture production and the latest technological equipment, as well as gain new customers and partners.

- The quality and warranty of furniture are among the issues that customers are most interested in. How much importance does “Qardashlar mebel” attach to this?

- “Qardashlar mebel” was able to organize the production quality and the level of service provided to customers in a very short time in accordance with international standards. Thus, the factory’s production quality and management system were awarded the international certificates ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 9001: 2015.

All equipment of “Kardashlar Mebel” complies with modern European standards. Thus, 80 percent of the equipment is purchased from the famous Italian company “GRIGGIO WoodworkingMachinery”, while the rest of the equipment belongs to large Turkish companies such as “Durmazlar Makina”, “Reha Makina”, “Teksan Makina”, “Sağlam Makina”, “Tempoaksesuar”, “Etiket Atölyesi” and “FetaEğitimAraçlarıMerkezi”. It should be noted that “Reha Makina” closely cooperates with the British car brands “RangeRover” and “Jaguar”.

During the production of furniture sets, high-quality wood materials, metal parts, mechanisms, paints, leather and fabric upholstery, mattresses are used. The factory has several large production buildings. In addition to office, home and garden furniture, the factory also produces school furniture, military furniture, healthcare furniture and all types of iron furniture.
