Qardashlar Furniture Company, which produces furniture based on the individual wishes of both individual and corporate customers, has announced that it has started producing smart furniture.

The head of the company, Ali Mirzayev, said that the production of smart furniture was a long-planned step.

"I believe that the development of technology should not bypass the furniture sector. Just as devices with various purposes make people's work easier, we should also add comfort to people's lives by adding various functionalities to the furniture we produce. In this regard, as Qardashlar Furniture Company, we have decided to produce smart furniture based on human behavior. We plan to apply this direction to office furniture at the initial stage. Our research shows that employees in both the private and public sectors spend most of their days sitting in the office. This, in many cases, has a serious impact on both health and the quality of work. Since the office desks we will offer are adjustable, people will be able to do their work both sitting and standing. This will also help prevent the development of excess weight and possible complications in the spine."

The head of the company gave information about the technological advantages they added to the office desks they will present, saying that the additions consist of elements necessary in a person's daily life.

"Previously, office furniture had limited functionality, but now, thanks to the unity of furniture and technology, it is possible to create wider opportunities. At the initial stage, we planned to install a cooling system to cool the laptop on the height-adjustable office desks, a heater to keep the liquid in the cup warm, a wireless device to charge the phone, a Bluetooth-powered sound system, and 2 USB ports. We have already prepared a prototype of smart furniture. Depending on the number of orders, we are ready to increase the production volume. This is a first among local furniture companies, and we plan to expand our activities in this direction in the future, and we will try to apply the integration of furniture and technology to other types of furniture."

It should be noted that the company also plans to sell furniture to the American market in 2020. Brothers Furniture has already started negotiations with several companies in America in this direction. Currently, Qardashlar Mebel is represented in 16 furniture categories across Azerbaijan.
